I was between appointments today when I got a little hungry and I thought... How easy it would be to pull in to a drive-thru... but NO I can't do that! I have to stick with this detox for 4 more days! It's interesting to do this detox and learn what triggers you to make bad choices.
It's relieving for me to know that I had something planned to eat that was healthy!
I still didn't starve today and I still feel great!
So my lessons today were:
1. Plan your meals.
2. Know what your weaknesses are.
3. Know that you CAN say "no".
Congrats, Jaclyn. The first few days of detoxing are the hardest. Once you get to about a week, you'll find that your cravings will diminish. Drink lots and lots of water to help wash away the toxins and to help manager hunger.
ReplyDeleteJust my 2 cents since I'm on a mission to lose weight and change my habits as well. I have lost 10 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks. I don't crave sweets anymore. Yay.
You can DO IT!
Thanks for your comment Deb! I have been drinking A TON of water! 64+ ounces per day!
DeleteI also haven't had the headaches that most people get because I the only form of caffine that I get on a daily basis comes from green tea.
Congrats on your weight loss!
